Course Description: This one-day hands-on training will focus primarily on performing Duct Leakage to Outside (DLTO) testing for diagnostic assessment purposes. The measured duct leakage value (CFM25) is used in energy-modeling software calculations and scope of work development. Duct leakage percentage, calculated using the measured diagnostic result of the DLTO method, is required for use in PG&E’s Energy Upgrade California® Advanced Home Upgrade.
Course time is approximately evenly split between the classroom and hands-on demonstration and practice in a training/demonstration lab-house.
In order to register for the Enhanced Hands-On Duct Leakage Training, you or your company must already be an approved Energy Upgrade California® participating Contractor or Rater in PG&E service territory.
**FULL ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED AND VERIFIED FOR THIS TRAINING.
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early so that we can begin the course promptly.
